Businesses have rapidly transitioned their business models to a completely virtual infrastructure.
This means the way of business has drastically changed at an alarming rate within the last 6 months.
We are seeing entire sales teams in some of the largest organizations going virtual. Something they didn't plan on and we didn't expect to see for at least a few years.
Now don't get me wrong this can be a very positive opportunity for many, but will you be one of those who take advantage of it?
LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, the list is endless.
The Digital Age is here... and it's here to stay. That's why I am writing this article to teach you how to sell in the digital age.
What that means for you is it's time to learn how to market & sell your product/service online.
With that in mind I am going to give you the Top 5 Bullet Proof Strategies to help you generate more leads on LinkedIn and close more business.
All of these concepts I am about to share with you are proven, tried, tested, & true.
#1. Connect, send Inmail message, then start building a relationship
When you send a connection request be sure to add a personalized message. We are creature of nature and we still enjoy the human to human connection, even if it is in a virtual setting.
Don't go straight for the hard selling. In fact don't hard sell at all, just continuously bring massive value. You will definitely see better results this way.
#2 Join Groups, stay interactive. (Like, comment, Share, & most importantly-POST)
Join groups where you ideal prospect, client, & referral partner will be. This allows you to be in sight and in mind.
Groups will provide you with additional exposure to your target market and help showcase your knowledge, skills, & talent.
#3 Create your own group
After you've joined groups where your ideal prospects are, go through the member list and start inviting others to join your group.
Here you will have the cream of the crop opportunity to help, encourage, & motivate your ideal prospects.
The most important component here is to bring them massive value first and then they will eventually reach out to you.

#4 Leverage your mutual connections
You have a much higher chance of engagement with someone you already have a mutual connection with.
Ask for an introduction to a potential prospect or referral partner from a mutual connection. This is much easier and reaps better results than trying to reach out with a cold message.
Trust me, I learned the hard way on this one.
#5 Optimize your profile, & be the industry expert
Showcase who you are and the expertise you have. By optimizing your profile you are 10x more likely to have someone view and engage in a conversation with you.
Also, it's imperative to remember the human to human connection. Although it is virtual, people still have a deep desire to connect. & they want to connect with industry leaders, so share your knowledge.
There are two types of people on the end of this spectrum:
a) those being used by the digital platform
b) those who are utilizing the digital platform.
Which one are you going to choose?
Be Great,
